| The diversity
of landscapes in Salamanca favours the practice of hiking, and its paths
and roadways
pass through places of great beauty. Some of them are well marked such as the GR 10 that goes along parts of an area in the south of the province, like the Route del Alagón, the Route de la Plata, or those that go through the district of Cuidad Rodrigo and the Sierra de Gata. The Sierra de Francia has a generous offer of routes and properly marked roads that invite you to travel through this beautiful area. The same is true in the park of Arribes del Duero, where you can enjoy a complete trip following the flow of the river. Many other paths are offered to hikers, like those prepared by towns and communities to act as a complement to rural tourism. In addition to these, there are countless paths, roads and lanes that join neighbouring towns, and which go to old mills or fisheries or that lead into neighbouring lands along old roads now in disuse. Don't hesitate any longer, provide youself with the appropriate information and prepare yourself to discover new areas and places in intimate contact with nature. |
