Two small rivers, the Francia and the San Benito, surround this old village located in the heart of the Sierra de Francia. Defended by solid walls, the solemn figures of the tower of homage of the castle and the parochial church stand out in the unmistakable silhouette of the village that held the jurisdictional power of the whole mountain range from the XIII century.
